Terms and Conditions for Climate Vouchers

The following Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) shall apply to the use of the vouchers (“Climate Vouchers”) for the Enhanced Climate Friendly Households Programme, administered by the National Environment Agency and PUB (“Agencies”).

About the Climate Vouchers

1.     The Climate Vouchers worth $400 (comprising $300 and $100 vouchers) are denominated in Singapore currency and can be redeemed in denominations of $2, $5, $10, and $50 on or before 31 December 2027.

Eligibility

2.     The following households* can claim one set of $300 + $100 digital Climate Vouchers by logging in to RedeemSG via Singpass:

a)     Singapore Citizens and/or Permanent Residents whose registered address is a Housing & Development Board (HDB) flat

b)     Singapore Citizens whose registered address is a private residential property

3.     Only one member from each eligible household*, who is residing at his/her registered address, shall claim the Climate Vouchers (“Voucher-Holder”) for his/her valid registered address during the programme period.

Use of Climate Vouchers

4.     The Climate Vouchers are only valid for the purchase of (i) eligible products that carry NEA's energy label and/or PUB's water efficiency label or (ii) LED lights, and direct current fans approved under the programme.

5.     The Climate Vouchers can be redeemed at participating retailers’ stores. For a full list of retail stores and eligible products, please visit https://go.gov.sg/cv-spend and https://go.gov.sg/cv-products  respectively.

6.     The Climate Vouchers will expire on 31 December 2027. Any unutilised amount will be forfeited thereafter.

7.     The Voucher-Holder should present his/her personal identification document that shows his/her residential address (e.g., NRIC, utilities bill) to allow the participating retailer to verify that the address indicated on the Climate Voucher corresponds with the residential address on the Voucher-Holder’s personal identification document.

8.     No refund shall be given if the value of the Climate Vouchers exceeds the amount payable for the transaction. If the value of the Climate Vouchers used in a transaction does not cover the full cost of the transaction, the balance must be paid by the Voucher-Holder.

Restrictions on use of Climate Vouchers

9.     Multiple Climate Vouchers from different households* cannot be used for a single transaction.

10.  The Climate Vouchers are not refundable, resaleable, or exchangeable for cash, store credit, cash voucher, gift voucher, gift card or otherwise.

11.  Exchanges for products purchased with the Climate Vouchers are subject to the Participating Retailer’s store policy and shall only be accepted for eligible products.

*Multiple families/tenants living in the same registered address are collectively entitled to one set of Climate Vouchers for the same registered address.

Use of Singpass

12.  The Voucher-Holder shall comply fully with the Terms of Use of Singpass and be responsible for exercising due care over their Singpass login ID and password.

13.  The Agencies and the Participating Retailer shall not be liable for any losses or damages suffered by the Voucher-Holder owing to the loss of or the misuse of their Singpass login ID and/or password and/or the Climate Vouchers.

Variation

14.  The Agencies reserve the right to vary, modify, amend, or supplement any provision of these T&Cs at any time without prior notice. In the event of any dispute, the Agencies’ decision is final.

Liability

15.  The Agencies shall not be responsible for any claim, demand, loss, cost, expense, or liability of any kind whatsoever, arising from or in connection with any transaction or dealing between participating retailers and Voucher-Holders.

Forfeiture of Climate Vouchers

16.  In the event of any breach of the T&Cs herein and/or misuse of the Climate Vouchers, the Agencies reserve the right to void the Climate Vouchers issued to the Voucher-Holder, and to recover from the Voucher-Holder the monetary value of the Climate Vouchers utilised by the Voucher-Holder.

Disclaimer: For the purpose of administering the enhanced Climate Friendly Households Programme, all data including Voucher-Holder’s personal data will be used, disclosed to and stored in applications or platforms (such as RedeemSG) which are owned by, licensed to, managed or controlled by government agencies such as Open Government Products. The personal data may be used and/or disclosed to other government agencies for such other purposes as may be permitted under the applicable laws.
